Travel

BY TRAIN

Train timetables are available at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk . There are now two stations in Cambridge – ‘Cambridge’ (CBG) and ‘Cambridge North’ (CMB). Cambridge is the closest station to St Catharine’s College and is approximately a 25 minute walk away. Alternatively, if you prefer to take a taxi, there is a taxi rank immediately outside the train station.

The nearest major airport to Cambridge is London Stansted Airport. There is a regular train service from Stansted Airport to Cambridge, taking approximately 30 minutes. London Heathrow

You can travel from Heathrow Airport to Kings Cross Train Station via the London Tube on the Piccadilly Line. This takes around 1 hour and details can be found at https://tfl.gov.uk . There is a regular train service from Kings Cross to Cambridge, taking approximately 50 - 80 minutes depending on the departure time. London Gatwick

From Gatwick airport you can travel by train to Victoria station, followed by the London Tube service to Kings Cross station, and then via train to Cambridge.
